Fuuse and Drax Electric Vehicles partner to deliver landmark migration for bp pulse fleet customers

Exclusive partnership will support nearly 1,000 fleet customers in one of the EV charging industry’s largest ever infrastructure migrations. EV charge point management platform, Fuuse, and energy and EV infrastructure leader, Drax Electric Vehicles, part of energy provider Drax Group, today announced a major partnership. Together, they will support the transition of almost 1,000 former bp pulse fleet ‘depot’ charging customers and their chargers. These customers represent a combined charging socket count of more than 14,000.

Fuuse will lead what is expected to be one of the largest charging infrastructure migrations the UK EV sector has seen. This will enable fleets to retain and optimise their existing charging estate without costly rip-and-replace programmes.

The appointment follows more than a year of extensive collaboration, hardware testing and platform development between bp’s EV charging business and Fuuse, ensuring customers can transition smoothly while maintaining operational continuity across their charging infrastructure.

Through a strategic partnership with Drax, customers will also benefit from a nationwide, enterprise-grade service and maintenance offering. This will include the continuation of existing hardware warranty support and protecting previous infrastructure investment.

James Chapman, Strategic Sales Director at Fuuse said:

“We’re excited to welcome bp pulse fleet ‘depot’ charging customers onto the Fuuse platform. Being selected as the exclusive migration partner is a huge endorsement of both our platform and our people.

“By building on our existing partnership with Drax Electric Vehicles, we’re proud to be able to provide best-in-class hardware maintenance support, while honouring existing hardware warranties. This is about more than just software. It’s about protecting customer investment, maintaining operational continuity and making what could feel like a disruptive change, incredibly straightforward.”

Adam Hall, Energy Services Director at Drax Electric Vehicles said:

“Ensuring former bp pulse fleet ‘depot’ charging customers can move forward with confidence is our priority. With nationwide field service capability and continuity of existing hardware warranty support, we can help ensure charging infrastructure remains maintained, supported and fully operational. That means less disruption, reduced downtime and greater confidence for fleets relying on their vehicles every day.”

Customers affected by the bp pulse transition can register their migration via the link provided in the notification email from bp pulse.

Following registration, Fuuse’s onboarding team will validate charging infrastructure requirements, confirm service arrangements and guide customers through the migration process.
