Haven Power is rebranding as Drax

Haven Power is part of Drax Group, whose ambition is to be carbon negative by 2030. We work with UK businesses to help enable a zero carbon, lower cost energy future. Our partnerships with businesses are a big part of that and we'd like to make that partnership even stronger. So, we're making it clearer that we're part of Drax by rebranding as Drax and changing the company name of Haven Power Limited to Drax Energy Solutions Limited. We'll be making this change over August and September.

Don’t worry, you’ll still enjoy the same great service and speak to the same people you always have. Our relationship with you won’t change. If you manage your account online using our portal, you can continue to do so. For now, this will continue to be branded Haven Power. We’ll rebrand it later this year when we launch a new and improved portal.

Rebranding as Drax reinforces our commitment to supporting the UK in its transition to net zero. Drax is the largest supplier of renewable electricity to UK businesses. We generate renewable electricity across the UK - including the UK's largest renewable power station. We have our own renewable generation assets, and we partner with over 2,000 independent generators too.

We’ve sent you more details about how this will work in practice via letter or email. If you have any questions, you can speak to your account manager. We’ve also listed the answers to some frequently asked questions below.

What happens with my bills after the rebrand?

Any future communications, invoices, or documents we share with you will all be Drax branded. The way your products work, your prices and terms and conditions won’t change.

I'm having trouble reading my bill

If you have trouble reading your new bill please update your PDF viewing tool to the latest version. For Adobe Acrobat Reader DC this is currently version 2021.007.20095.

What about my Direct Debit?

If you pay by Direct Debit, you don't need to take any action - this change won't affect the service you receive. When we make the change any payments to or from us will appear as Drax Energy Solutions Limited on your bank statement.  We'll supply the details to your bank, and they may also notify you of this change.

What if I pay via BACS?

If you pay by BACS, you’ll still use our existing bank details, but change the payee name to Drax Energy Solutions Limited.

What do I need to do?

Nothing. We’ll keep you informed as we progress and let you know exactly when the new company name will take effect.

What if I have a PPA or FiT contract with you?

Your statement and other forms or documents we share with you will be Drax branded.

Your payments will be just as speedy, but they’ll come from Drax Energy Solutions Limited and appear as Drax Energy Solutions Limited on your bank statement.

What if I have an Electric Vehicles or Electric Assets contract with you

Any future communications, invoices, or documents we share with you will all be Drax branded. The way your products work, your prices and terms and conditions won’t change.

What if I’m renewing my contract with you?

Your renewal offer will remain the same, but your new contract will be with Drax Energy Solutions Limited.

What if I’ve signed a contract with you but you haven’t started supplying my energy yet?

The contract terms and price you’ve agreed with us will stay the same. We’re looking forward to supplying your electricity.

What if I need confirmation of your rebrand on letter headed paper?
