Drax achieves service level highs with Renewable Power Purchase Agreement offering
We’re proud to announce that we’ve achieved the highest possible rating in Ofgem’s latest supplier compliance audit which applies to our Feed-in Tariff (FiT).
On top of this, Ofgem requires FIT Licensees to carry out meter read validation checks every two years to ensure generation volumes are being recorded correctly.
We’re delighted to have achieved a meter verification rate of greater than 95% since early 2020. This is around 20% higher than the industry average.
Despite the impact of COVID-19, we were able to put robust processes and protocols in place to ensure we’d keep our customers and colleagues safe, while meeting our regulatory obligations.

Across our portfolio of over 3,000 renewable generators , we make payments of around £175m to independent generators each year. We’ve achieved a billing accuracy of 99% across both monthly and quarterly payments.
