From the 18th July 2022, once we’ve agreed a contract with you we’ll register your meters within 5 working days (unless your current supplier objects). You can request a later date if you’d prefer.

Our small to medium enterprise (SME) terms and conditions

SME T&Cs: New & renewing customers

Here are our contractual terms for new and renewing customers from 22 Feb 2024, with Half Hourly and Non-Half Hourly meters.

SME T&Cs: For existing customers

Here are our contractual terms for existing customers from 1 October 2022, with Half Hourly and Non-Half Hourly meters.

SME T&Cs: Previous Opus customers

Here are our terms for customers on supply with Drax on Opus Energy T&Cs. These customers will move onto these terms at the end of their fixed period.

Deemed contracts


In cases where you have moved into a premises and not agreed a contract with us, you are placed by default on the Deemed terms and conditions, as we are the electricity supplier for the premises.
